About Us

My husband and I used to rent this house from a very old friend of ours, and we always said to her, if ever you wish to sell it please can we have first refusal – she obliged in 2007 and we have never looked back! It is our special place – we come and recharge our batteries – lazing on the deck in the sunshine, doing DIY and maintaining the garden (that’s his role not mine!) We love strolling on the beach, driving along the Connor Pass to Dingle, or dropping my husband off at Stradbally beach so that he can fish for sea bass, which, if he’s lucky, we then cook for dinner! The locals have adopted us as their English O’Donnell's, and this is why it is our home from home. We have ensured that the log cabin is not personalised, but homely – with every guest loving the fact that all mod cons are catered for!
